Spending a Terrible Day
after a Horrible one in an      Awful Place
(2015)
As an art student, had to know something about Iranian classical painters.
knowing Mohammad Siah-Ghalam and his paintings about some imaginary creatures, encouraged me to find out more about ghouls, monsters, demons and generally dark powers in Iranian classic art and literature.
I tried to present them in a unique language through sculpture.
I did some sketches on their portraits and their way of life.
These Are my monsters, they stick to mind to bother it
it's strange for me to hate them or fear them. they are living with each other, spending terrible days.
it's not strange for me to see them put poison on each other's food
we hurt each other because we are suffering our selves.
picturing the pain, reduces its power.
